Cross Creek is searching for a full-time Tech Administrator Administrator to provide support to users, manage company hardware assets, software programs and user accounts, & improve operational efficiencies. This role will report directly to the CFO and requires a robust technical foundation, high level of organization, and excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate various IT tasks and projects across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide first-level support for IT-related issues, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and escalating complex issues to the appropriate external IT staff member.
  • User Account Management: Create, update, and manage user accounts and permissions across various systems and applications, particularly the O365 Suite.
  • Monitor Software Licenses and Renewals: Oversee and track the status of current software licenses and renewals. Collaborate with the Research and Finance teams to confirm the continued use and relevance of software programs.
  • Evaluate and Recommend Software Solutions: Research, identify, and recommend new software solutions that can replace existing vendors or offer improved tools for the firm.
  • Asset Tracking: Track and manage IT assets & warranties, ensuring accurate inventory and lifecycle management.
  • Develop and Implement Business Continuity Plans: Review, update, and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans that ensure the organization’s ability to maintain essential functions during and after a disruptive event. This includes conducting risk assessments, identifying critical business processes, and establishing recovery strategies to minimize business impact.
  • Support IT Budget Planning: Assist in the planning and allocation of the IT budget to meet the organization's technology needs.

Special Projects:

  • Develop and Execute a Cloud Transition Project Plan: Create a comprehensive project plan, including a timeline, to manage the transition of all company files to the cloud.
  • Administer Key Software: Attain expert-level proficiency and become ‘Power User’ for critical software applications.
  • Onsite Support for Cross Creek Events: Serve as the on-site IT point of contact for external events.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a technical support or IT administrative role is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and software applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common business software.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and innovative
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, smaller company environment
  • Knowledge of IT security practices and data protection regulations is a plus.

Work Environment:

The position is in-person and based in our Salt Lake City office. Current authorization to work in the U.S. for minimum of 2 years. Cross Creek is unable to sponsor work visas currently.
