Cross Creek is searching for a part-time Office Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. This role involves managing front desk operations, answering phones, handling inquiries, and supporting administrative tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff members.
- Liaise with the building manager, coordinating communication and addressing any facility-related issues or requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Ensure all office supplies, equipment, and inventory are well-stocked, organized, and in good working condition.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing meeting room calendars.
- Process expense reports for executive team.
- Maintain employee records, coordinate interviews, and assist with onboarding new employees.
- Print materials in advance of in-office meetings.
- Coordinate and manage all employee events, including team lunches and offsite gatherings,
- Assist with external events as needed
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, smaller company setting.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Hours & Work Environment:
The position is based in our Salt Lake City office. The expected in-person hours are Monday- Friday, 8:30-12:30pm MT. The candidate should also be flexible with additional hours and willing to travel for company events on occasion. The role may involve some physical activity, such as lifting and moving office supplies. Current authorization to work in the U.S. for minimum of 2 years. Cross Creek is unable to sponsor work visas currently.
