About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Associate to join our Investor Relations team. This role is ideal for a professional who is energized by outreach, relationship-building, and the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s capital-raising efforts. You’ll play a key role in identifying and engaging potential Limited Partners (LPs), supporting the fundraising process, and assisting with a range of strategic and operational initiatives across the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and engage prospective LPs through research, outreach, and event networking.
- Support senior team members in developing and managing relationships with investors, family offices, and institutional partners.
- Prepare and deliver outreach materials, investor presentations, and follow-up communications.
- Assist with the creation and refinement of pitch decks, investor updates, and marketing collateral.
- Review and organize client and fund materials, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- Maintain CRM systems and track investor interactions and pipeline activity.
- Provide general business development and administrative support to the Partnership and Operations teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of professional experience, ideally in financial services, investment banking, private equity, or sales/business development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, client-facing demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM tools and databases (e.g., Salesforce, Dakota).
- Self-starter with the confidence to initiate outreach and engage senior-level professionals.
- Demonstrated interest in venture capital, startups, and/or the broader investment landscape.

- Must have authorization to work in the U.S. for at least 2 years; we are unable to sponsor visas at this time.
- This position is in-person and will be located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
