Jay joined Cross Creek in 2022 as Partner to oversee investor communications, public relations, and all client-related matters, while also leading strategic development and execution of institutional fundraising for all Cross Creek strategies. Prior to joining the firm, she served as Head of Consultant Relations for Commonfund Capital (now CF Private Equity), with a focus on private equity and venture capital products.

Jay’s career began as an investor in distressed debt and restructurings at Intermarket Corporation, a privately-held hedge fund in New York. At Intermarket, Jay was a generalist on the investment team for more than a decade with sectors of focus over that time including healthcare, consumer products and gaming. In 2009, Jay chose to pivot from investing to Investor Relations. Over the next six years, she led Investor Relations for Strategic Value Partners in Greenwich, CT while also acting in the capacity of Product Specialist, and subsequently developed the role of Managing Director, Head of Consultant Relations for the firm. In 2015, Jay joined Artisan Partners as a Managing Director and Business Leader for the nascent credit team, where her role encompassed direct institutional sales, consultant interactions and investor relations.

Born and raised in Ireland, Jay holds a B.A. in Ancient History, Archaeology and History of Art from Trinity College, Dublin, and an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business. A woman of many interests and activities, in her former life, Jay was an actress, dancer and singer, but today, she is an avid cyclist, an eager skier and a devoted dog mom.
